Hi! I'm Em.

I am a Wagga Wagga based artist practicing on Wiradjuri land. My work is characterised by colour, energy, and botanical rhythms. I have always appreciated life through lenses of colour, texture, composition & balance. My dominant art practice is acrylic painting, mixed media, and digital art techniques. I also love the intersection of science and art and experiment A LOT with paper making, making inks from foraged items, eco printing, and finding ways to turn human rubbish into art supplies... it is my dream to be able to make art from my home made art supplies only.

I am also a qualified (& pracitising) Kinder to Year 12 teacher, have experience in leading community exercise groups for the elderly in a previous life as a physio, have overseen a special education department in a large school, lead EALD programs for students new to english and have directed preschool music / story / craft programs... so running workshops for ANYONE is totally my jam.

My family recently traded the big smoke of Melbourne to return back to my home town. You're likely to find me riding my bike, drinking a coffee made by my in-house barista husband, or playing a boardgame with my gorgeous kiddos.

I am thrilled to be able to share my creative pursuits with you, as well as bring you along for the journey.
