HAND MADE INKS

Create your own set of organic inks from found and foraged items, and then be guided in how to use them to depict our local wildlife using custom drawn step-by-step drawing guides.

STEP BY STEP PAINT

Create your own gorgeous painting on a canvas under artist guidance. Artwork can be themed according to event.

STICKER FACTORY & GELLI PRINTING

Be inspired by our local birds and create collage stickers from recycled materials. Perch them on a monoprint background made using gelli printing and native foraged finds!

HAND MADE PAPER

Learn how to make paper from paper based rubbish and old jeans. Experiment with seeds, dried flowers and gold flakes to create unique papers to take home and use on future projects.

BOTANICAL IMPRINTS

Using clay, recycled items and foraged botanicals, create a mold for a plaster of paris cast. Use paints to pick up highlights and shadows, and add essential oils to your beautiful new feature piece. Make it special by using personally significant plants. 

COLLAGE CARDS

Using handmade papers and other recycled papers, make a set of beautiful bird collage cards.

RECYCLED PLASTIC EARRINGS

Learn how to safely create one of a kind earrings using the type 2 and 4 plastic bottles lying around your home.

COLLAGE NOTEBOOKS

Decorate the front of a notebook with a beautiful botanical collage piece. Be guided in principles and skills of collage by Emily.

BOTANICAL ORNAMENTS

Use recycled matierals, botanical cuttings, clay and plaster to create unique seasonal ornaments. Finish them off with a touch of metallic paint.

MONOPRINT MADNESS 

Learn how to make your own gelatin plate, and then use it as well as bluetac, balloons, and recycled materials to create collage elements that are then assembled into beautiful art pieces.

NOTE: This can have a seasonal twist by creating a wreath shape.

UPCYCLED KNOT NECKLACES

Using recycled electric cords and used textiles, create unique knot jewellery.

CUP OF SUCCULENT

Decorate rescued cups into one of a kind mini plant pots.

IMPLEMENT & BRUSH MASTERCLASS

Using found and foraged items, create a series of unsual tools to apply handmade ink. Also learn some basics about making ink from common kitchen items, and then sketch some still life works using your new tools.

LAKE PIGEMENT MASTERCLASS

Learn the science behind what makes a 'lake pigment', and be guided in the steps on how to turn botanical inks and dyes into insoluable pigment particles using chemistry precipitation. Grind these down and mix with binders to make vaious art mediums.
